Toorongo Falls is a stunning natural wonder that has existed for thousands of years,
predating the establishment of modern settlements in the area. This breathtaking site is
located in a 16-hectare reserve, traditionally associated with the Wurundjeri and
Brayakoloong Aboriginal tribes.
Follow Toorongo Valley Road, located about 4 km east of Noojee, which connects to the
Mount Baw Baw Tourist Road.
The Toorongo Falls Reserve features two primary waterfall walks – Toorongo Falls and
Amphitheatre Falls, often combined into a single, scenic 2.2km loop. The trails take about 1
hour and pass through a lush, fern-filled, dog-friendly forest.
