The project aims to build on the history, setting, character, proximity to Melbourne and established tourism orientated businesses in the township, to provide a historic and interpretive centre and functional building on the site of the former Noojee Railway Station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through 5 stages the Noojee and District Historical Society aims to complete the&nbsp; development of workshops, a turntable, timber mill, cultural centre, station and railway lines and carriages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An overview of the stages is described below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stage 1:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>-Construction of a replica Railway Station<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Reinstated railway line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Landscaped gardens to the east and west of the station platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Relocation of train and development of static display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stage 2:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>-Construction of a Goods Shed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Construction of a car park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stage 3 and 4:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>-Construction of workshops 1 and 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Construction of early settlers camp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Recreation of railway tracks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Construction of Heritage and Cultural Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Construction of Old Mill Site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Construction
