The Baldwin 0-4-0 tramway locomotive was essential for<br \/>transporting timber from the nearby sawmills in the bush.<br \/>The timber siding at Noojee Railway Station was a vital hub for handling the significant<br \/>timber output from local mills. Located west of the main station, near the Goodwood<br \/>sawmills, it served as the primary loading point where stacked sawn timber was<br \/>prepared for transport via narrow-gauge tramways.<br \/>Between 1919 and 1926, over 28 mills operated in the region.
